Situated in the East Wing of the Chateau, our gourmet restaurant, "Les Fresques" is the symbol of gastronomy at the Château, and is distinguished by its elaborate cuisine with fresh, local, seasonal quality produce. The menu is renewed every week and suggestions or favourites impress the most discerning palates.

Our Executive Chef - recently awarded a Michelin star- Didier Casaguana, will prepare your dish with all of his passion for local produce including fresh seasonal truffle products. Our pastry chef, will rekindle your childhood memories with his original and delicious desserts.

During the balmy summer evenings, you can dine "al fresco" on the terrace - an experience to remember with wonderful views, friendly and discreet service and superb cuisine. The decor will enchant you with its magnificent frescoes on the walls, breathtaking views across the lake, its terrace and its decoration, both chic and cozy, where shades of grey extend onto the draped picture windows.

CADRE

Les Fresques was decorated by artist Liz King-Sangster who is known for her work with several opera companies including the English National Opera, the Scottish Opera, Rambert Ballet and Sadlers Wells, Paris, Vérone, Berlin and Vancouver. Today she lives and works in the Dordogne. Liz created the charming and sumptuous Frescoes that adorn the walls and resonate with the chic and warm atmosphere. The large French windows reveal splendid views across the terrace to the lake and vineyards beyond.
